Welcome to the Find-it Application (hereinafter referred to as “the App”)

Operated and managed by Tomer Gips, ID 037097870 (hereinafter referred to as “the Operator”).

Access to and use of the App, including the services offered through it, are subject to the terms and conditions detailed below (“the Terms”). Therefore, you are requested to read them carefully:

Downloading the App and/or any use of it constitutes a declaration by the user that they have read all the Terms carefully and agree to all conditions without exception. If the user does not agree to the App’s Terms, in whole or in part, they must refrain from downloading (or using) the App and must immediately remove it from all devices in their possession.

User Eligibility: The App can be used by any individual who is an Israeli citizen and has the legal capacity to use the App and its services for lawful purposes. If you are a minor or do not have the legal capacity to perform legal actions without a guardian’s approval, your use of the App will be considered as having received such approval.

The Terms are written in the masculine form for convenience only and refer to the feminine as well. Similarly, any reference to the singular also refers to the plural, and vice versa.

The content displayed on or through the App cannot serve as a basis for making legal or other decisions on your part. Any actions taken based on this content are at your discretion and solely your responsibility.

The Operator reserves the right to change the Terms at any time, at their sole discretion.

General Usage Guidelines:

The App serves as a platform that facilitates communication between individuals who have lost or found items, based on the geographical location of the item or other search criteria.

Users are solely responsible for the content they upload to the App and must exercise judgment and responsibility when uploading items.

When posting an ad about a lost item you found, you should keep one identifying detail of the item secret, both in the ad text and in the pictures, to verify the rightful owner.

If the owner of the item cannot be verified by identifiable features, keep the exact location where you found the item a secret, and mark an inaccurate location on the App.

If you find a card or document containing personal details, such as an ID number or personal number, cover sensitive details with your finger (or using a drawing tool on your smartphone) and only publish the name and a picture of the card owner. Disclosure of information that violates privacy laws, including the Privacy Protection Law, is prohibited and is the sole responsibility of the user.

If you lose a house key or car key, do not post in the ad the name or phone number of someone living at that address. Instead, use the name and phone number of someone who does not reside there, to avoid revealing your home or car location. Providing such information is solely at the user’s responsibility.

Do not post items such as cash, weapons, medications, or high-value items whose ownership cannot be verified. We recommend handing them over to the Israel Police.

Do not post ads related to adoption, foster care requests, or the sale/transfer of animals. This platform is not intended for such matters.

To filter inappropriate content, the App operators review some of the ads before they are approved and published in the App.

It is at the operators’ sole discretion whether to approve or reject an ad, and they may decide to delete the ad from the company’s servers.

This action does not assume any responsibility for the content uploaded to the App; responsibility lies solely with the users.

Some ads posted on the App will remain archived by the company for documentation and security purposes.

Any attempt to use the App for criminal activities or fraud will be reported to the Israel Police, and we will work in cooperation with the police to identify the offenders. You have been warned.

Limitation of Liability – Damages:

The Operator or anyone on their behalf is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, or performance of the various actions in the App, including its content and applications, that may have been compromised without the act or omission of the Operator.

Without detracting from the generality of the App’s Terms of Use, the Operator or anyone on their behalf will not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or special, financial or otherwise, that may be caused to the user and/or any third party as a result of using or being unable to use the App.

The user hereby declares that they will have no claims, lawsuits, or demands toward the Operator or anyone on their behalf regarding these matters, and they hereby fully, finally, and irrevocably waive any remedy of any kind against them in these matters.

Push Notifications and Advertising:

The user agrees and authorizes the Operator or anyone on their behalf to contact them from time to time, either orally or in writing, by direct mail or any other means, according to the contact details provided during the registration to the App or in connection with its services. This includes sending messages, inquiries, advertisements, etc.

Additionally, the user consents in advance to receive push notifications (“Push Notifications”) via the App. Push notifications may include alerts and sounds sent to the user’s device via the App’s servers, even when the App is not running. These notifications will be sent at the Operator’s discretion and timing. The user agrees to receive such push notifications.

The user can cancel or update the receipt of push notifications at any time by changing the App settings on their mobile device.

By using the App, the user reaffirms their consent for the Operator to collect and use their information as specified. If the user does not agree to this, they must refrain from using the App’s services.

The Operator reserves the right to change the above privacy policy from time to time, and the user consents in advance to any such changes, which will apply and be valid in relation to them.

Prohibited Use and Viruses:

Without prior written consent from the App Operator, you are not permitted to perform the following actions in connection with your use of the App and its software. Non-compliance with these limitations may result in the denial of your access to the App and may expose you to civil and/or criminal liability under applicable law. Therefore, you are prohibited from:

• Copying, reproducing, modifying, processing, translating, reverse engineering, distributing, or storing any content or code from the App, in whole or in part.
• Operating or enabling the operation of applications or software such as Crawlers, Robots, Trojan horses, etc., for the purpose of searching, scanning, copying, or automatically retrieving App content.
• Creating or distributing viruses, malicious software, or any other means that may harm, destroy, interfere with, or limit the use of computer systems, servers, hardware, or software.
• Displaying content from the App within an (iframe), visibly or hidden, or displaying App content in any way, including through software, devices, or communication protocols that alter the original design of the App or omit any part of it.
• Disrupting or infringing upon the rights of other App users, including the right to privacy, or collecting personal information of App users without their explicit written consent, including by automated means or unauthorized access to their device or data.
• Harming the dignity or privacy of another user, or using the App to damage the reputation of any person or to publish incitement, fraud, deception, defamation, or any other false, unreliable, or malicious information.
• Using the App’s content or website to create a database or collection.

Intellectual Property Rights:

The Operator or anyone on their behalf owns all rights, including full intellectual property rights, to the App, its content, information, display, software, graphic design, icons, and trademarks featured within the App. The Operator is also the owner of all trade secrets related to the App and its website, developed, designed, or created by or for them.

The trademarks displayed in the App are recognized trademarks, whether registered by their owners or not, and must not be used in any way that could infringe upon the rights of the trademark owners.

If the user submits recommendations or feedback regarding the App or its services, the Operator may use them at their discretion without any obligation to pay or compensate the user for such recommendations or feedback.

General Terms of Use:

The Terms of Use of the App are subject to changes from time to time, at the sole discretion of the Operator, as published in the App. No prior notice is required to be given to the user or any other party regarding such changes. The user hereby consents to any changes made to the Terms of Use, and such changes will apply and be valid with respect to them or anyone on their behalf in connection with the App and/or its services.

The App, its registration, use, and all services offered through it by the user, and any related matters, including the Terms of Use, will be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. Any legal dispute arising between the parties will be adjudicated solely by the competent court in the Tel Aviv-Yafo or Central District.

The user’s address for any purpose related to the Terms of Use is the contact information provided during the registration process.

Any notice under the Terms of Use will be sent in writing, via registered mail, by hand, by fax, or by email. Notices sent in accordance with this section will be considered received by the other party within 72 hours if sent by registered mail, 24 hours if sent by fax or email, or immediately if delivered by hand.

As part of using the App, we collect users’ phone numbers and email addresses. You can request the deletion of your details from the company’s database by emailing: contact-us@find-it-app.com
